Biography


Hosni Zubeir is an associate Professor at the Chemical Engineering Department, University of Bahrain. He has a PhD in Corrosion & Corrosion Control (1992) from the Corrosion & Protection Centre, UMIST, UK. Since graduation Dr. Zubeir Worked in teaching areas, included a visiting scientist at UMIST (1992-1994)- at the University of Tripoli, Libya (1994-2002)-and University of Bahrain (2002-Present). Dr. Zubeir has served as chairman of the chemical Engineering department, University of Bahrain from 2015-2020. He has published several papers, participated in many conferences and delivered several workshop in the area of oilfield scales and corrosion failure analysis. His special interests cover corrosion failure analysis in marine environment and material selection. Dr. Zubeir is an active member in many professional and social societies.
