  Research Dr Jasim published in high-impact factor journals. His h-index: 15, i10-index: 18 and citations 1100 (as of March 5, 2024). Dr Majeed’s research areas are mainly on environment, simulation, and process intensification. He is the author of published scientific papers, primarily in the areas of air quality, solid waste management, application of artificial intelligence into environmental challenges, and the engineering of sustainable systems. He authored an environmental book in Arabic titled “موتايناي عربية الاخلاقيات البيئية المستدامة ” in 2013. He delivered many specialized short courses to industry.   Awards & Honors
  • Certificate of Excellence, “Bronze” level for using Blackboard LMS (Learning Management System) in University of Bahrain for academic year 2012/2013.
  • A scientific paper titled “Carbon Dioxide Absorption and Desorption in Aqueous Monoethanolamine Solutions in Rotating Packed Bed”, has been selected by “Industrial Engineering & Chemistry Research” as one of the most accessed articles (April-June: 2007).
  • A scientific paper titled “Innovative Absorber/Stripper Configurations for CO2 Capture by Aqueous Monoethanolamine”, has been selected by “Industrial Engineering & Chemistry Research” as one of the most accessed articles in its special issues (April-2006): CO2 Capture
  • Two research papers appeared in Top most cited articles in Waste Management and Research: The Journal for Sustainable Circular Economy (IF 3.9).
  • Won a scholarship from Japan Foundation to carry out research in Japan. The theme of the “Climate Change and Human Development: A comparative study of different societies” (Nov 2008).
  • Won a scholarship as a Fulbright Scholar to carry out research in University of Texas at Austin (2004-2005).
