Biography
Dr. Mohamed Abdelrahim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Bahrain. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering (Advanced Process Control/System Identification) from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia in 2016.
Dr. Mohamed has had more than ten years of industrial experience before joining academia. First as Sr. Process Engineer at PETRODAR Operating Company (PETRONAS/Malaysia & China National Petroleum Corporation CNPC Joint Venture)-Sudan and also as a researcher in the Research and Development Dept.  HITACHI- Japan.  Dr. Mohamed’s Research interests include but are not limited to Process Modeling, Dynamic Simulation & Control​, Advanced Process Control and System Identification.
