Biography
DR. MOHAMMED MAJID AL KHALIDY received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from, University of Technology, Iraq, in 2007. Dr. Al Khalidy was a Senior project Engineer in Al- Karama General Company (Aerospace Industrial Company), Iraq, Baghdad, 1997– 2006. He has been a faculty member of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, the University of Bahrain since 2014. He has extensive industrial experience in the field of Aerospace Electronics and Intelligent Control and Guidance Systems. He participated in many international projects. He is a senior member of professional societies such as IEEE and a life member of the Bahrain Society of Engineers. He has served as a steering committee member, session chair, and a member of the technical program committees for numerous international conferences. He has supervised many master’s students and presented several tutorials. Doctor Al Khalidy has published in prestigious journals and conference proceedings, and he has published a book in the field of robotics. His research interests include AI, Intelligent Systems and Robotics, Image Processing, FPGAs, Embedded Systems and SOC, Aerospace Control and Guidance Systems, Systems Modeling, Water treatment, and Sustainable Energy
