Biography


PhD in Mechanical Engineering, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia   Dr. Niaz has a strong academic background in the Mechanical Engineering field combined with (05) years of industrial/research experience as Manager Technical and more than (06) years post-PhD teaching experience at the university level. His research interest includes CFD analysis of Vortex induced vibration (VIV) phenomenon, Fluid structure interaction (FSI), transport and deposition of aerosol particles in human respiratory system, multiphase flow, Design and analysis of gasketed bolted flange pipe joints, renewable energy, and failure analysis (structural, modal and thermal). In recent research activities, Dr.Niaz has secured 03 research grants worth USD 90,000/-. He has published more than (65) Journal articles (with Impact factor (ISI-indexed) in high visible journals.

Achievements


  • Successfully developed ANSYS Authorized Training Centre (ATC) at National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan. It is the only authorized training Centre in Pakistan
  • Secured 04 research grants worth (70,000 USD) in 2021-2022
  • Published 60+articles in Impact Factor (ISI-indexed) Journals.
