Dr. Osama Mohamed Elsaid Omar

Dr Osama Omar, an architect, finished his Ph.D. Degree from Architectural Department - Faculty of Engineering - Alexandria University under the title ”Nanoarchitecture and Global Warming“. His master's degree was about “Advanced daylighting technologies for sustainable Architecture”. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, Netherlands. In the fields of Architecture Education, Environmental Architecture, and Urban Design, he has published more than 40 articles in journals, conferences, books, and book chapters. He is an Architect registered at the Syndicate of Egyptian Engineers, with more than eight years of professional experience in several countries. He had taught at several universities including Egypt, Lebanon, and Bahrain. He has contributed as an academic referee for architecture and engineering prestigious journals (Q1, Q2, …etc.) and scientific conferences committees in different countries. He granted several Staff Mobility Exchanges through (the Erasmus+ Project) in Poland, Spain, and Portugal. Among the courses he teaches are Working drawings, Graduation projects, Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design, and Architecture and Interior Design at the postgraduate level.
