FACULTY BIO

Dr. Reem Sultan is an assistant professor in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design. Reem’s research and teaching combine the interest in design education spaces, spatial perception and design process and thinking, and thus reflected on her PhD research which has been completed under the title: Design Studios: Understanding Relations Between Built Environment, Learning and Behaviours. Before joining the University Bahrain, Reem has been practicing Interior Design in the field. Her background is Interior Design from University of Bahrain, with a master’s degree in Design for Services from Duncan of Jordan stone College of Art and Design (University of Dundee, UK), as well as MBA in project management (AMAIU, Bahrain). Her Research interest lies in the field of Higher Education spaces and Design Education, Design thinking tools and methods, and Spatial Perception.
