Biography


Dr Ahmed Alali is a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Bahrain. He joined the university in September 2013 as a Research and Teaching Assistant (A), and was awarded a scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), where he completed his MSc in Civil Engineering in January 2017. He returned to the University of Bahrain as a Research and Teaching Assistant (B) and continued his academic journey by obtaining a second scholarship to pursue his PhD at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. He completed his doctoral studies in 2025 and resumed his role at the University of Bahrain in October 2025.

Throughout his academic career, Dr Ahmed has taught a range of undergraduate courses in structural engineering, including Statics, Mechanics of Materials, and Structural Analysis. He has also delivered software-based courses such as MATLAB, MS Excel, and AutoCAD, and has experience teaching Surveying.

Biography


Dr Ahmed Alali is a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Bahrain.
