FACULTY BIO

Abdullh Al Zobair, was a faculty at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (Alberta, Canada) and a practicing architect in Canada, hold a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Bangladesh and master’s degree from University of Seville (Spain), where he studied Conservation & Optimization of Energy Performance in Buildings. On completion of his degree in Architecture, he worked in Europe, the UK and in Canada as an Architect and in the academia. He is a member of ‘The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada’ and registered at ‘Alberta Association of Architects’. He has published some papers and active participants in many seminars, workshop, conference around the world. His personal philosophy rests on the belief that architecture is, at its most fundamental, a cultural activity. As such, his research focuses on understanding of modernity in the cultural context.
