Biography


Architect, researcher, and lecturer with over a decade of academic and professional experience across India and the Middle East. Teaching core design studios and specialised modules at the University of Bahrain, including Architecture Design, Working Drawings, and Graduation Projects. Actively involved in mentoring students, developing curricula, and supporting institutional accreditation efforts across frameworks such as COA, WASC, NAAC, NAAB, BQA, and NQF.

Holding a Ph.D. in Architecture with a research focus on student-centred approaches to enhancing campus public open spaces. Passionate about integrating design thinking and active learning strategies to foster inclusive, engaging, and outcome-oriented studio environments.

Research interests include campus urbanism, smart cities, social equity in public spaces, and human-centric urban design. Published extensively in Scopus- and IEEE-indexed platforms, and contributed chapters to volumes by Springer, Elsevier, and Taylor & Francis. Regularly present at international conferences and engage in peer review for academic journals and conferences in architecture and urban studies.

A COA-registered architect, Fellow of the Indian Institute of Architects (FIIA), Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA–UK), LEED® Green Associate, and GRIHA Certified Professional. Experienced in interdisciplinary design education, sustainability frameworks, and global architectural practice.

Facilitates faculty development workshops in collaboration with UTEL Bahrain, covering innovative teaching methods including AI-enhanced instruction, inclusive pedagogy, and classroom management. Mentors students for national and international design competitions and contributes to the academic community through advisory and reviewing roles."
