Dr. Rashed Abdulrahman is currently an Assistant Professor in Transport Engineering in the Civil Engineering Department. Dr Rashed completed his PhD from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom in 2021, and titled Prevalence and Self-regulation of Drivers’ Secondary Task Engagement: An Investigation of Behavior at Intersections Based on Naturalistic Driving Data. He completed his MSc specialized in Transport Planning and Engineering from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom in 2013. Dr. Rashed is involved in research related to transport strategies, traffic management, traffic safety, driver distraction, driver assistant systems and road traffic accident causation.
