FACULTY BIO

Mrs. Abeer Abubakr is a registered architect with a Master’s degree in Urban Design from (SAS- Sudan), a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from (UOB) and a Diploma in Interior Decorating from (ICS- USA). She is interested in the aesthetics of design and creativity. Her research focused in Building Facades’ Colour Selection and the Variation in Architects Colour Determination process. She participated in the documentation of Shaikh Isa Bin Ali House and in many competitions such as Bahrain Commemoration Monument Design Competition. She won the 2nd price in the Urban Planning Competition of Development of Seef District Area. She is an artist (oil in canvas painter) and teaches Architectural Graphics, Basic design, Computer Aided Design and Interior Design.
