Mrs. Bintu Jasson is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Bahrain. She holds M.Tech in VLSI and Embedded Systems from Mahatma Gandhi University, India and B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Calicut University, India. Prior to joining the University of Bahrain in Februray 2019, she has worked as Projects Coordinator for a leading Design & Build firm in Bahrain. In the past, she held various academic positions, notably as Head of Academic Advisory and Asst. Professor in Electronics and Communications Engineering at KMP College of Engineering, Kerala, India. She has published various research papers in leading conferences and journals and has presented her research works at several international forums. Currently, she takes up academic and several departmental committee roles at the University of Bahrain and renders active participation in university level competitions both locally and regionally. Her teaching and research interests include: Robotics, Real Time Embedded Systems, Wireless Communications, Transducers, Discrete Time Signal Processing, VLSI Design, Fiber Optics, Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning. She holds a senior membership at the International Society of Automation (ISA), member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).Areas of Expertise
