Biography

Designer, from Bahrain, with over 8 years of professional practice in Bahrain & USA. In 2023, Buthaina completed her PhD in Design from NC State University in the US. In her doctoral research, she investigates the effect of digital fabrication in the interior design field and how the technology impacts the design process. Buthaina is currently an Assistant Professor in Department of Architecture and Interior Design at University of Bahrain. Her areas of interest are digital fabrication, innovative design, and the creative process.
