Mrs. Fatema Al Hammadi is an Architect. She holds a B.Sc in Architecture from the University of Bahrain and a Master’s degree of Urban Design from Leeds Metropolitan University in UK. She is interested in Architectural Design as well as understanding the values and principles of applying urban design to spaces. Fatema is involved in heritage projects of renovations. She has completed a survey of some of the old houses in Muharraq city. She was a member of the team who prepared a study of reclaiming problems in Bahrain, which won the first prize in Venice Biennale in 2011. She teaches Architectural Design and Urban Design.
