Maryam Ajaidah is a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at University of Bahrain, specializing in Interior Design. She holds a master’s degree in art from De Montfort University, UK (Leicester), and is currently pursuing her PhD in Design from Northumbria University, UK. She earned her bachelor’s degree in interior design from the University of Bahrain. With a strong foundation in design principles and fundamentals, she has taught various design courses, including Basic Design, Graphic Design, Presentation Techniques, Colour in Interiors, Textiles, and Design. Her passion extends beyond the classroom, as she actively engages in community service through volunteer work, applying her design expertise to charity projects that involve interior design improvements. Her research interests focus on the relationship between interior design elements and human behaviour, particularly how design can enhance user comfort and well-being.
