Mrs. Abeer Ahmed Alqallaf

Mrs. Abeer A. K. AlQallaf is a graduate assistant in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at the College of Engineering. She teaches and coordinates material application course, computer aided design courses, and Interior Design core courses. Prior to this, she worked as a part-time instructor at the Royal University of Women. Mrs. AlQallaf holds a first Class Bachelor of interior design program from UoB and a Master of design degree in Interior Design from Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne, Australia). Mrs. AlQallaf was awarded a PhD scholarship by University of Bahrain. In 2024, she complets her PhD in Environment and Sustainable Development. Her research focuses on the role of using eco-friendly interior materials (EFIMs) and indoor potted plants (via lab experiments) within interior environments toward creating environmentally sustainable interior design (ESID).
