Biography


Amal Attiya is an interior designer and researcher specializing in educational environments, with a particular focus on spatial navigation and cognitive mapping in primary schools. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from the University of Bahrain and a Master's degree in Product Design from Birmingham City University in the UK. Currently pursuing a PhD in Architecture at the University of Bahrain, her research explores the intersection of design theory, user experience, and environmental psychology to enhance wayfinding and engagement in school architecture. Throughout her previous teaching experience, she emphasized the impact of delivering knowledge to young designers, believing that one teacher can change a student’s life forever.
