FACULTY BIO

Ms. Saraiva is a qualified architect with a master’s degree in urban history, Post-Graduation in Urban Studies and a PhD Researcher in Housing and Dwelling. her professional experience covers 15 years and ranges from urban design, to services, commercial and residential projects. She received her master’s degrees under the title: ‘The roots of Portuguese Urbanism: What kind of cities Portuguese constructed in Brazil?’ Ms. Saraiva’s research focuses on the interrelation of human behaviour and the shaping of the urban and residential environment in recognizable configurational patterns.
