PhD in Robotics and Control, Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL) University of the West of England (and University of Bristol), UK Dr Said Ghani Khan received his Ph.D. degree in Robotics from the Bristol Robotics Laboratory, University of the West of England, Bristol (and University of Bristol), UK, in Feb. 2012. He completed his M.Sc. (Distinction) degree in Robotics from the University of Plymouth, U.K., in 2006. Dr Khan has previously worked as an Assistant Professor in Taibah University, Saudi Arabia from 2013 to 2022. Dr Khan has also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Queen’s School of Engineering, University of Bristol, UK. His research Interests include Safe Human Robot Interaction, Rehabilitation Robotics, AI Inspired Reinforcement Learning based Optimal Adaptive controllers. He has written over fifty papers including journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings. He has also coauthored a book titled “Biologically Inspired Control of Humanoid Robot Arms: Robust and Adaptive Approaches (Springer).”
