Dr Said Ghani Khan received his Ph.D. degree in Robotics from the Bristol Robotics Laboratory, University of the West of England, Bristol (and University of Bristol), UK, in Feb, 2012. He completed his M.Sc. (Distinction) degree in Robotics from the University of Plymouth, U.K., in 2006. Dr Khan completed his B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Engineering Technology (UET) Peshawar, Pakistan, October, in 2003. Dr Khan is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain. Dr Khan has previously worked as an Assistant Professor in Taibah University, Saudi Arabia from 2013 to 2022. Dr Khan has also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Queen’s School of Engineering, University of Bristol, UK. Dr Khan is the author of more than fifty research papers including journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings. He has also coauthored a book titled “Biologically Inspired Control of Humanoid Robot Arms: Robust and Adaptive Approaches (Springer)”.Areas of Expertise
