OUR FACULTY
As of 2024, there are 20 qualified and well-experienced faculty members. 18 of the faculty are PhD holders and 2 MSc holder who handle the lecture classes for the courses. The PhD holders include 9 associate professors, and 9 assistant professors. In addition, the MSc holder is an instructor. All ranked faculty members have obtained their degrees in different Chemical Engineering related fields from reputable academic institutions globally such as Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Japan, South Korea, United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
Faculty specializations are diverse such as automatic control and system engineering, biotechnology, corrosion control engineering, catalysis, CO2 capture and sequestration, environment, gas processing treatment, nanotechnology, process system engineering, process intensification, process optimization, process modeling and simulation, machine learning applications, water and wastewater treatment.
In addition to their academic load, the faculty conduct research that is at a regional, and global level, participate in the administrative duties as well as community services. The faculty are involved in many students’ extracurricular activities such as supervising competitions, as well as mentoring the students. Senior faculty teach specialized courses at a Master’s and PhD level for college’s own postgraduate courses.
